He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Industrial Psychology from the University of Stony Brook and subsequently attended Teacher’s College Columbia University. In 1996 he joined the New York City Police Department where he began his career as a patrol officer in the heavy crime ridden section of East Flatbush, Brooklyn. He effected hundreds of arrests as a patrol officer during a crime reduction initiative. In 2003 he was promoted to Sergeant and subsequently promoted to the rank of Lieutenant in 2010. In 2013 he was promoted to the designation of Precinct Commander of Detective Squad where he spent 5 years overseeing thousands of complex criminal investigations. In 2018 he retired after serving 22 years in the New York City Police Department. He then started PRSCLLC Investigations with the goal of continuing to be able to make a positive difference in the world. He and his team of licensed private investigators offer expertise in Criminal and Civil Investigations, Covert Surveillance, Insurance Fraud, Law Firm Support, Missing Persons Cases, etc.
Mr. Miranda possesses many years of experience in areas of technology, physical search, law enforcement investigations, facility event security and corporate project management. He continues to attend professional industry conferences, seminars and specializes in programs both in North America and around the world. Mr. Miranda provides customers with up to date knowledge with regard to equipment technology, electronic surveillance devices and systems as well as TSCM related occurrences on a global level. Mr. Miranda has an extensive range of operational experience and knowledge required for the many aspects of professional TSCM service operations. He utilizes a wide variety of techniques and methods both standard and proprietary, integrated with sophisticated equipment sources to help counter the many types of technical, non-technical, internal/external surveillance and intelligence gathering threats that exist. Mr. Miranda oversees the Technical Surveillance Countermeasures unit maintaining a professional operating policy and ethical standards to ensure complete objectivity and confidentiality with all of our customers.
